Join OneThousandClub for Saturday Yoga + Brunch
Based on member feedback, we’ve decided to expand our social pods beyond just dinners and have partnered with Casa Cabana to launch a saturday morning yoga + brunch experience.
Ease into your weekend with a power flow from seasoned Portuguese yoga instructor and Gaya Imersions founder Sara Montes, then enjoy a leisurely multi-course brunch from the in house chef of Casa Cabana. The event will take place in the heart of Principe Real, and you’ll have a chance to experience to hottest newly opened yoga space in town.
We only have 25 spots for this first launch, so grab your tickets ASAP (reminder tickets sold out to Ninho event in 48 hours).

Host a Social Pod Dinner at Your Home
Given OneThousandClub’s core value is meaningful connection, we no longer host dinners in busy restaurants. Instead, we gather around the table in private chef’s kitchens and homes. As we grow, we’re looking for additional homes!
Are you a natural host that would like to open your home for a social pod dinner? Don’t worry we will sort out everything – from a private chef to prepare all the food, help with the table decor, and even do the clean up!
All you need is:
- Space to sit 8 to 10 people around a table
- Kitchen space the chef can use
- Availability on a weekday (Mondays till Thursday)
- Willingness to curate and guide the group

WOME BOX
Project owned by one of our members Filipe Rebelo, the idea for the WOME BOX came up a over a year ago, in the midst of a pandemic, when, prevented from enjoying gastronomic and wine experiences, he thought of creating a service that could put the Portuguese passionate about wine and food in contact with new flavours every month. WOME BOX presents 4 Portuguese wines – 3 Reds and 1 White, new every month, delivered in a mystery box. The selection is made by specialists in the field – oenologists, sommeliers, wine specialists – who bring diversity in the vision of wines and accompanying chef curated recipes.
Unobvious Labs:
Unobvious Lab, owned by our member Tiago Silva Pereira, is a creative hub and co-working space in Santos, designed for people who hate clichés. If you’re looking for a new place to co-work in Lisbon, check them out!
Welcome David Alves to the OneThousandClub team!
We are pleased to announce the newest OneThousandClub team member and co-founder: David Alves David is an entrepreneur, investment fund manager, and father of 3. After 20 years in investment banking, David returned to Portugal and is now a private equity agri-business fund manager.
David is driven, passionate and determined in everything he does and when not in the office you will most probably see him by the sea, practicing kitesurfing, one of his healthier addictions.
Educated in Lisbon and a speaker of multiple languages, David is an active leader in the Portuguese community and is someone who believes in the power of networking and mindful connections.
At age of 45, David is now keen to give his energy to OneThousandClub and help bring locals and foreigner together and to be part of the future in his hometown.
