January is coming to an end, may February start!

The January OnThousandClub Gathering
What a ride! We’ve had plenty of new members join this month of January, and it was time for our monthly gathering to happen! Thank you Pampa das Flores for hosting!

This is how it went!
Coming up on February!
… meaningful conversation happen in small groups.
That’s why we created OneThousandClub Social Pods! Each month, we pair you with 8 new members (4 Portuguese and 4 Foreigners) so you can connect around the table.
This month the meal will take place in the famous “Lapa Case” (i.e. the home of one of cofounder Mel Miles at the original table where the OneThousandClub idea was born). Bring a jacket, as we may start with drinks on the balcony overlooking the river, then sit down for an intimate private dinner.
The chef of the night will be Alexandra Corrine of Sebze Lisboa serving up a three-course Turkish feast. After living in Istanbul, Turkey for six years, chef Alexandra Corrine and her Turkish husband launched Sebze as a way to bring Turkish food to the Lisbon community. Alexandra will come with a selection of Portuguese wines and Turkish teas to fill the table.
Payment is required in order to sign up, which ensures a full table and that everyone will have a good time.
Are you a New Member?
Have you signed up do a Welcome Dinner already? This will be your opportunity to meet some of the new members one-on-one and truly experience what this community is all about. We no longer host in restaurants for our welcome dinners but in the home of a person, come and discover who will be opening the doors this month!
Anne Colin is an amazing French private chef and founder of A Ilegitima, home and culinary space bringing guests into a dining experience rooted in sensuality, adventure, and self-discovery. She will welcome you to her home for and intimate dinner designed to create deep connections between club members.
If you have a home where you would like to host the OneThousandClub, don’t worry we will organize the chef and the guests, feel free to reach out!
